Two women were walking on the beach and taking photos. They noticed a bright orange ball hovering about "20 feet above the sand." The light then shot out to the ocean and then disappeared. They then continued their walk on the beach. They looked around behind them and the light appeared again. The light then began to come toward and approached them. They then ran in terror from the pursuing light.
