Aerial Yellow-Orange Orb Descends Then Moves Straight Up & VanishesDate of Sighting: March 30, 2010
Time of Sighting: 10 PM EDT
Location of Sighting: St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada (See Map)
Description: I saw a yellowish orange orb in the sky coming towards us and then it started going straight up. The light was pulsing and then it just disappeared. This is not first time I have seen the same thing around the same time when the sky is clear. I have seen these orbs about four other times. They look the same each time.
Note: The fact that the orbs are only seen on clear nights suggests that they could have a celestial explanation. However, similar looking orbs were reported from Santa Cruz, California on the same night. Click here to read about the Santa Cruz sighting.
