Rusty Gray Object Like the Clouds Shaped Like Jellyfish Seen in Night Sky

Antioch is in Northern California About 25 Miles East-Northeast of Oakland.

Description: I saw an object that was rusty gray almost like the clouds. I don't know the size, but it was quite large. It was big enough to see details in it like the chambers around it and how it looked as if it were two objects one hovering over the other, but far enough that there was no sound. It almost looked like a Jellyfish and at the bottom of it there were a cluster of glowing almost fire like lights and from those lights (the center of the object) fell a bright orange object like a beacon and as it continued on it's path it dropped 3 more of the same objects, one less brighter than the last. It was coming west towards me and then it sharply turned and began to head north toward the Marina. As it got closer to the marina it disappeared back into the clouds.
Note: The official weather observations indicate that it was clear at the time of the sighting. There were clouds earlier in the day. This observation conflicts with the witness report. There could have been some clouds in the area, but not over the weather station which wasn't at the exact location where the witness saw the object.
