Description: I was looking east at night. I didn't note the time, but I think it was around 10:30 PM when I noticed a slow moving orange light heading west through the sky. As the light got closer I noticed that it was ball shaped. It didn't seem to move any faster then a plane would, but I could not see any other colored lights and it made no noise. I noticed that the light itself was ball shaped and had some diameter to it, about the size of a screw head if you held it at arm's length. The object then began to turn to the southwest, but then executed a strange path. It looked like it started to fly sideways, then it appeared to back up briefly and then began flying off to the south. I ran inside my house to get my girlfriend to come out and see it, but when I returned maybe 10 seconds later it was gone. I walked up the street to make sure it just hadn't disappeared behind some trees, but I was unable to spot it again.
