Several See Aerial Multicolored Lights in Triangle FormationMake a Sharp Turn
Covina is a Suburb About 25 Miles East-Northeast of Downtown Los Angeles.

Time of Sighting: 8:45 PM PDT
Location of Sighting: Covina, California (See Map)
Description: We saw bright flashing lights at a low level over the Covina sky. The lights seemed to be bright white, blue-ish, yellow and orange glowing lights in triangular formation heading west to east. Then they made a 90 degree turn descending and made a weird humming noise. Then they instantly vanished. We heard a slight boom. Myself and others saw it. Also, my son's friend saw it from a mile away. He did not know what it was, but was a bit shaken by it. I was not able to photograph the lights. I hope that radar or something can explain this object in the sky.
Note: Another sighting was reported on the same night from West Covina, California. This sighting occurred nearly two hours prior to the above sighting. It is not known if the two sightings are related.
