Curlew is in Northeastern Washington
About 10 Miles From the Canadian Border.

Date of Sighting: April 12, 2011
Time of Sighting: Between 2 and 3 AM
Location of Sighting: Curlew, Washington (See Map)

Description: I saw what looked to be a star slowly grow very bright. It was several times as bright as any star ever is. It was stationary in the southern sky. Then it dimmed back down to a typical star or plane like brightness and started moving to the east. I watched it moving for a few seconds, and then it just vanished. This is not at all what a plane might do. I continued to watch the sky. A few minutes later either the same object or one very similar appeared in the same general area as the first one. It was moving north this time. This one did not grow bright, but disappeared suddenly after I watched it for a short time just like the first one. The speed was about what you would expect a plane or satellite to be traveling. These were not at all like any meteorite I have ever seen. This is only the second time I have seen something I would call a UFO and the first time reporting it.
