Man Snaps Sequence of Photos of Sky.Later Finds Strange Light in Photos.
Photo Sequence Captured by Witness Showing Extraneous Light.
Dubuque is in Eastern Iowa Along the Mississippi River.

Description: I thought the sky looked cool so I got out my camera to take some pictures. These are the first 4 pictures I took. I could not see the light with my own eyes. It only showed up in the pictures. I do not believe this is a lens flare because the amount of movement it made in such a short time. and after these 4 pictures it was gone. I tried zooming in and taking several more pictures, but I had no luck.
Note: Sunset at Dubuque was 7:42 PM CDT on August 29 which was six minutes after the photos were taken. The Sun can cause a lens flare effect. The witness is convinced that the light was not a lens flare.
