Location of Sighting: Franklin Parish, Louisiana (See Map)

Description: 6 ROUND LIGHTS WERE IN A STRAIGHT LINE IN FRANKLIN PARISH,LA AT OUR HUNTING CAMP OFF BURKE ROAD. OUR DEER CAMERAS CAUGHT 20 PLUS PHOTOS FROM 8:17 PM ON 11-3-2011 TO 3:55 AM ON 11-4-2011.

Additional Information Submitted by Witness (In Response to Comment Below That the Lights Might Have Been a Spider Web): LOL! I check all of our cameras at least twice a week and if you look at all the pictures, you will see that the lights are behind the deer and it has not rained out there in a few weeks. Thanks for looking at the pictures and taking time to try and figure them out for us.

More Responses From Witness:

Thanks for taking the time to look at my pictures. My camera is a 2011 Moultrie Trail Camera and it is set up to be tripped by a motion detector!

Well there are no aircraft in that area at all. And if you want I can send you more pictures when its daylight? I have the shutter speed set to 15 seconds. I have a total of 24 pictures of the light. I am not one to believe in UFOs, but this is very strange because I grew up out there with my dad and we have never seen nothing like that at all!

Comments Received November 6, 2011: I could be wrong, but this looks like dew droplets on a strand of spider's web.

Comments Received November 7, 2011: I saw a very similar string of lights off Lido Beach at about 30 degrees above the horizon. There is no way it was a spider web. It was also observed by another couple that was walking on the beach. (This sighting occurred in Sarasota, Florida on November 3, 2011.)

Comments Received November 8, 2011: I did a Photoshop with both photos and you can see a line that goes all the way across the photo. It is a spider web. Also the far left bush has a 6 point buck behind it. The buck is facing the camera. What you can see is the rear of the buck and both hind legs. Sorry Guys. Best regards.

UFOS Northwest Response to Above Comment: The inverted image (second image from the top) shows no line across the photo. The lights do not appear to be suspended from anything. The commentor is correct that a deer is in the photo, but we disagree with the "spider web" theory.

Comments Received November 9, 2011: You say the lights are in the same spot, but that is untrue. If you play the pictures in order, the lights clearly move. I am freaked out about this entire situation because no one can explain what the lights are. The closest town is very small and they do not have an airport plus the land out there is all woods! There are 90 plus acres of thick woods. The closest town is about a 20 minute drive and the only planes used is crop dusters and they do not fly during the night. Any information on what this could be would be great because I am scared to go back out to the camp now because of this!

Comments Received November 21, 2011: We use game cameras in the woods all the time. I do believe in UFOs, but I have to tell you these are bugs flying in front of the camera. They always look huge and further away than they are. Don't be afraid to go out there any more.

Note: The fact that the lights appear in several frames in the same spot indicate that they are not moving and may be due to a light source from the trees in the background. However, I don't know what these lights could be. It is quite doubtful that the "spider web" theory is valid because there is not a place for a web to form within range of the camera. (See daytime photo of the same area above.) Also if the web formed near the camera lens, it would have been out of focus. The camera takes photos when it detects motion. Deer are in several photos in addition to the lights. There are a few frames where the lights, but no deer are in the photos. Could the lights have triggered the motion detector?
