Couple See Erratic Moving Orange Light in Night Sky
Hoquiam is About 50 Miles West of Olympia.

Description: The night was completely clear. My husband and I went outside and right away I noticed an orange colored light in the sky. It was not flashing and it was way bigger and brighter than the stars. (We live on a busy road so we can't see the stars very good because of the street lights. The orange light was moving quite fast from east to west towards us. After about five seconds it began to dim and get bright again several times and then dimmed to where we could barely see it. Then suddenly it shot west at a much greater speed, much faster than any plane I have ever seen. My husband said he could see a dark shape when it was over us, but I only saw the light. (My eyes are not that great.) The light continued toward the west and started zigzaging sharply until it was out of our sight. It made no sound like a plane would.
