Sighting Reports 2011 1 Bright Light in Center & 2 Dimmer Lights on Each Side Seen in AM Sky
Date of Sighting: January 20, 2011 Description: I saw lights in a horizontal orientation. There was one bright light in the center and 2 lesser lights on either side. The direction was between SE and SSE at approximately 30 degrees up from the horizon. The lights were moving very slowly up and to the right. Note: The witness could have observed a planetary conjunction in which Venus was brightest in the center, Mercury to the left (dimmer) and Saturn to the right (dimmer). The configuration would have been visible in the area of the sky described by the witness. The weather conditions showed a few clouds at 9,000 feet with visibility at 10 miles. Therefore celestial objects (planets, stars, etc) would have been visible. Send Drawings, Photos, or Videos Relating to Your Comments
