Description: The witness called and reported his sighting. He said that he had been seeing a bright light on clear nights in the southern sky. He zoomed in with his video camera and took some footage.
Note: The light in the video is the planet Jupiter. Jupiter was very bright (magnitude -2.7) and was in the southern sky at the time of the video. Skies were clear on the nights that the witness saw the light. He did not see the light on one night when it was cloudy. The large size of the light and the "diamond type" shape is due to the clipping of the image by the camera aperture as the zoom setting filled the entire field of view. Readers may wonder why post sightings that have explanations. The reason for this is to show that some sightings that may appear strange do have explanations.
