Description: I was taking my dog out to do his business when I saw a bright green neon light shaped sort of like an oval and it seemed to consist of about 4 or 5 green lights if you looked real carefully. Then a minute later one just like it, but bright purple appeared. They were dancing around in the sky in very distinct symmetrical patterns synchronous with each other. I didn't want to run and tell anyone because I was scared I'd miss something, but they remained in the sky for about 15 minutes before they flew out of my sight. This is like nothing I have ever seen before. I thought I had seen a UFO before, but that definitely was just a shooting star compared to this. It changed the way I see life on a day to day basis. They flew extremely fast across the entire view of my sky back and forth up and down! It was surreal. I had goose bumps and tingly sensations all over. I hope this is helpful. I found your site because I was searching the web to see if anyone else had seen them. Coincidentally you might find it interesting that there is a report on your site on DEC 31, 2009 also in Modesto with very similar if not exact descriptions of the lights.
