The Sighting Occurred on I-10 West Near New Orleans, Louisiana.

Description: My girlfriend and I were driving to New Orleans for a jazz festival and it was just getting dark. She noticed 3 lights and told me to pull over because I told her it was probably just stars coming out. I took 2 photos and we watched them. At first we just saw 3 dim lights in the horizon and then we noticed that they moved. At one time 3 of them were in a diagonal position. We eventually noticed 5 - 6 of them moving both slowly and very fast. You could see a "tail" on 2 of them when they moved quickly. I called an observatory and he said they had not seen anything. There is no airport or military in the general area where we saw the lights. It was very interesting. You will need to enlarge the photos. I wish we had video of it, but we had to leave to drive on to New Orleans.

Note: The witness could have photographed bright planets, but the direction where he took the photos was not revealed in his report. This and other questions have been posed to the witness. Updates will be posted. The tail (streaking) could be due to camera movement. Analysis indicates that the photo is likely the original and not edited. The photo was taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ3 digital camera. The camera has a maximum resolution of 3.1 million pixels.
