Unusual Bright Orbs of Light Seen in Night Sky.

Description: The sighting happened on December 13th, 2011 over Camp Pendleton. My wife called me on my way home. She was on her way to the store off the 76 and Old Grove. She witnessed a flash of light and then the lights started around some object she could not describe. She was questioning if I could see it as my son and I drove north over Collage towards the 76 the light appeared at the top of the hill. It was a bright amber/orange orb that just hovered at first and then split into four orbs. We drove behind a hill for a minute but they were still there when we cleared, but it went from four down to two as we sat at the traffic light. Seconds later it split again and headed east towards Temecula disappearing into the distance at a very high speed. They were so bright they illuminated the clouds around them as they passed.
