5 Oblong Objects Fly Slowly to the East in Night Sky
Piqua is in Western Ohio About 25 Miles North of Dayton.
Date of Sighting: May 30, 2011
Time of Sighting: 10 PM EDT
Location of Sighting: Piqua, Ohio
Description: We saw five oblong objects flying at slow speed to the east. My Wife and I were traveling north when we spotted the objects that were showing orange and white lighting. They were flying in somewhat of a formation and as we stopped to listen thinking it may be helicopters. The lead object jettisoned across the road and disappeared. Two following the leader did the same while the fourth turned toward the west and revealed a steady red light and disappeared. The last object turned west and vanished. The entire ordeal lasted approximately two minutes.
Note: The sighting occurred about 25 miles North of Dayton which is the home of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
