Description: I saw these same lights, but I saw a formation of 11 of them. It seemed that 10 were already there and I had looked in time to see one float vertically in the air and then suddenly stop to join the others. I was coming home from the Redondo Beach Breakwater after having watched the city fireworks show with my father and as we were walking back to our bicycles I saw them suspended in the air and moving in ways inconceivable for fireworks, planes or balloons. Others around me were stopping, gasping and pointing to them. They were silver-colored craft that flashed colors of green, red, blue and yellow, like flashing strobes. The best analogy I can make for the way the objects acted/moved is like flashing fireflies, buzzing around each other and flashing. They had been up there for at least a minute after I started watching, because I was able to obtain pictures and a 00:45 video. (The video was taken on my Android 2 smart phone. Thus the picture quality is poor. I will post the pictures, but because the video is too large my stupid smart phone won't let me send the video. This is the single most dumbfounding event I have ever seen. I literally did not believe my own eyes. I have no plausible explanation for this, other than UFOs. I have never seen anything like this in my life and most likely never will again. By the way, fireworks are ILLEGAL to privately own in Redondo beach, so please don't write this off as some display of fireworks imported from Mexico like my own mother has. I know what fireworks look like and act like. Fireworks DO NOT act like this. But judge for yourself. I am at least glad to know that others believe these are UFOs and that I haven't gone crazy.

Note: The witness is comparing his sighting to another sighting on the same night in Redondo Beach. This report also included photos. Click here to read the other Redondo Beach report.
