Sighting Reports 2011
Orange Ball Moves West in Night Sky, Becomes Smaller & Vanishes.
The Sighting Occurred About 10 Miles
South of Downtown Seattle, Washington.
Date of Sighting: July 15, 2011
Time of Sighting: 11 PM PDT
Location of Sighting: Renton, Washington (See Map)
Description: The witness called and reported his sighting the morning after it happened. He and two other family members noticed a bright large orange orb moving slowly westward in a cloudy sky. The object gradually became smaller and vanished. The object was visible for about 30 seconds. The witness said that his dog climbed a tree when it saw the orb. No sound was heard.
Note: The moon was full, but only 14 degrees above the southeast horizon at the time of the sighting. Skies were overcast with the cloud ceiling at 2,800 feet. Therefore the witnesses did not see the moon!
