Woman Sees Silver-Gold Light Move Rapidly Eastward Across Sky
Stockton is in North-Central Kansas.

Description: I was outside calling my cat at dusk. I saw a very bright light traveling from west to east across the horizon. It lasted much longer than a shooting star and had no trail behind it. It was almost a silver-gold tint. The length of time it could be seen was about 6 seconds. I went back outside and ran the numbers again. 5 to 6 seconds is right. I am in Stockton, Kansas. I have seen many shooting stars before, but this went completely across the horizon before disappearing in the lower eastern horizon. It did not waver or change directions quickly. It was pretty much on a straight line path. I am an electronics engineer and I have a great interest in becoming involved with equipment or time served in the UFO Sightings area.
Note: Given the sighting description, the witness did not see a satellite or meteor.
