3 See Cigar Shape Silver Object Hover & Then Disappear in Day Sky
Tigard is a Suburb About 10 Miles Southwest of Portland.
Date of Sighting: July 1, 2011
Time of Sighting: 1 PM PDT

Description: We were driving north on highway 217 towards Beaverton on July 1st 2011 around 1:00 in the afternoon. It was a clear day with no clouds. We noticed a silver glowing object north of us that was high in the sky. We watched it as it seemed to glow. (We thought maybe it could be sun reflecting?) But it also did not appear to be moving, but was stationary. It was white, silver and cigar shaped. Two others watched this who were in the car. No one looked away. It did not move out of view. We watched for 20 seconds and it disappeared. If it was a balloon it was very very large and also a weird shape as it was not round. We are hoping someone else also saw this?
Note: The witness has provided a good argument that the object was not balloon. Also why would it disappear in mid air?
