Wattsburg is in Northwest Pennsylvania
About 20 Miles From the South Shores of Lake Erie.

Description: I looked out the window to see if my dog wanted in. I saw a huge red flashing light. It lit the whole sky and was pulsating brighter and brighter. I thought the barn around the corner was on fire. I told my brother and boyfriend to hurry up and run over there to see if they could somehow help. I was still looking out the window at this huge pulsating red light and it just quit. I was thinking how was that a fire? They pulled in the driveway and said that as soon as they turned the corner it was gone. It was so bright and pulsating like a fire would have been if the barn was in huge flames and gas was involved. I was absolutely floored when it just stopped about the time they would have gotten about 1/4 of a mile away. Well I never would have believed that there was anything like a UFO, but if it wasn't a fire, what was that? It had to have been a UFO!

Additional Information Provided by Witness (In Response to Questions): It looked like it was across our street behind the trees. There are a lot of trees and pastures back there. I am going to look later, but my dad was talking to his friend and another lady saw one in Wattsburg just out of town too! I thought that was really weird. I know that the light that we saw was just across the street. I will let you know if we see anything and find out more about the one she saw! I know that the one she saw was in the town of Wattsburg. She thought Wattsburg was on fire. We live in the country between northeast and the town of Wattsburg.

My brother and boyfriend went to the corner and turned right on the crossroad as soon as they did the light went out. It wasn't in the sky. It was on the ground! We were watching out our front window as they left and about 1 minute later it was like a switch went off and pitch dark. Skies were clear at the time of the sighting. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen or anyone has ever seen.

Note: Witness stated that skies were clear at the sighting location. It was snowing at nearby Erie which is about 20 miles away. (This is not unusual due to "lake effects" snow.) We have requested that the witness survey the area where the sighting occurred and look for "trace evidence." Updates will be posted.
