Description (In Witness's Own Words):
I was in a car with two friends it was a clear day. I was in the
back of my boyfriend's car and my friend was at the front. We were
stationary in traffic on waterloo bridge, suddenly to the right of
the front of the car a massive flying saucer appeared to drop from
the sky at an angle, it was classic saucer shape metallic silver
with portholes all around it and had a ultra violet blue light
coming from the underside, the portholes appeared to glow so I
assumed there were lights on inside some of the portholes were
darker than others, which made me think we were being watched. It
was rush hour and hundreds of people were crossing the bridge some
people had stopped and were pointing up at the craft others walked
on slowly as though nothing were happening! it was as though time
had stood still for most but a few moved although slowly. Suddenly
the craft appeared to disappear but when I looked into the very far
distance I could see it hovering. I turned to my boyfriend amazed
and said "did you see that" he asked me "what." I couldn't believe
he hadn't seen it as he was in the best position. I asked my friend
if she had seen it, she looked scared and answered yes. A car that
was in front of us had a child on the back seat and he was jumping
about smiling and pointing at us. I looked at my friend and said "he
saw it too." My friend and I have only discussed this event once
since this date, she became a church goer after this event.
Investigator's Notes. This case
appears to be one of the classics: A daytime sighting by
several witnesses of a close-up flying saucer. I suspect that
others had likely reported this sighting given that it occurred
during rush hour on a busy highway. Possibly some articles
could have been written in the local media, but they would be
difficult to locate. Based on observations and the drawing that the
witness supplied, this case falls in the "unidentified" category.
