The witness also wrote that he has a co-worker whose father-in-law (now deceased) was a colonel at Carswell AFB in 1947 and apparently was at Carswell when General Ramey held a press conference debunking the Roswell UFO crash as a downed weather balloon (see above photos). She once told me (last year) she and her husband used to ask her father-in-law if Roswell was real. I asked her what he said and she laughed and said, "That's what's so funny. Every time we'd bring it up and ask him, he'd always just crack a grin and say nothing. He'd never tell us, just get this smirky grin." Anyhow, I thought you might get a kick out of that story. Who knows! Anyhow, if you find out anyone else saw the lights we did, let us know. It certainly made us wonder! Investigative Comments: One has to wonder if a weather balloon (or Mogul balloon as claimed by the Air Force) was transported from Roswell to Carswell AFB in 1947 the question arises: Why did the retired colonel not respond when asked whether or not Roswell was real? One would think that if this was the case the colonel would have responded that the artifacts were a balloon. Yet he said nothing.
