Air Force Service Sees Disk Shaped Object Turn on Side & Disappear

Description (in Witness's Own Words): An Air Force Serviceman was outside of the barracks at Shaw Air Force Base (AFB) and saw (through binoculars)  a shiny disk shaped object in the vicinity of a F4 fighter jet.  The object was about 1/2 the size of the fighter jet.  The object turned slowly turned on its vertical axis, became smaller, and then disappeared.  The veteran said that the unknown object was flying east from the base towards Sumter, South Carolina.  He said that the object was hovering before turning and disappearing.  He did not see any evidence of pursuit of the fighter jet by the UFO or vice versa.

Investigator's Notes: Here we have an incredible sighting by a credible witness who still remembers this sighting after more than 20 years and who wanted to share it.  This is one of several reports that I have received from veterans who have seen or had close encounters with UFOs.  This is a good case and is unexplained.
