Location of Sighting: Yelm, Washington
Date of Sighting: June 30, 2015
Time of Sighting: 3:25 AM PDT
Description: I got up around 3:30 AM or so and sat down at my computer. The previous night there was dry lightning so I looked out the window at the sky (to the northeast) before I turned the computer on to make sure there was no lightning. When I looked up at the space between two evergreen trees there was a bright, twinkling light. At first I thought it was an airplane. It was much bigger than a star and I wondered if planets twinkled. I continued to watch and there was another light, but not as bright and it and the other light seemed to kind of dance closer and then more distant from the dominant light. I looked through my binoculars and the light appeared bright and about twice the size of a star. While I was watching (probably for about thirty to forty minutes) there were two flashes of light in the area of the twinkling that lit up a small area. (That might have been lightning or not.) I live about five miles outside of Yelm in the country. Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
