Description: My boyfriend and I were driving back to his place from the store in East St. Paul, MN. We saw an explosion in the sky, that looked green as can be, almost like lightning. We saw it at 9:35 PM. It lasted about 5 seconds. The location was St. Paul MN, on Minnehaha Ave going towards downtown St. Paul. It was huge, but behind clouds. It was to my left and straight up ahead of us. The weather wa partly cloudy. It was an Aurora Borialis.
No, the aurora borealis does not flash and disappear. More likely it was a meteor.
