Location of Sighting: Scaley Mountain, North Carolina
Date of Sighting: May 7, 2021
Time of Sighting: 11:30 PM EDT
Description: On May 7th, 2021 at around 11:30 PM in Scaly Mt. NC at an altitude 4000 feet my husband, good friend and I were sitting on the porch watching the stars come out as it was cool and clear and spectacular. I noticed a “star” a bit brighter than the others moving and thought it to be a satellite or the ISS, until it went straight up, left, right zigging and zagging in a tight area. Wow, we were amazed and then we saw another one going even crazier, but in a defined area maybe 30 degrees right of the Orion’s belt. We watched for about 15 minutes and they never stopped for more than a few seconds. They were not low. They were up there with the stars and it was totally amazing. What the heck are these?
