Description: I saw something and have been searching other accounts since the date witnessed. Your site has two other accounts on the same evening so I am not nuts after all.
My photos were taken in Scottsdale (next to Airpark) AZ., on 4-10-19 at 6:45 PM. Prior to seeing the objects, the nearby Scottsdale Airpark sent up two (sets) of fighter jets into the airspace. That had my wheels turning out of the gate, based on the timing of what I saw that is.
Weather and Temp: It was a very windy day. The clouds moved fast enough for the eye to see clearly. The temperature was in the 70’s.
I look up and see a very bright light. About the same time there is a loud boom just south of the Scottsdale Airpark. The remnants of the boom resembled a firecracker dud or lightening hitting in midair. It had a spark, a boom and a ring of smoke, but no flare effect. This is when I began to watch the sky more intently.
I took two photos of the same stationary object. One was taken in the background of the baseball field lights. The second shot was zoomed from my iPhone.
I faced east for the photo. 1/8 of a full head turn north I noticed another bright light. It appeared smaller, but the same type of object/light.
These objects were stationary and the wind conditions did not disrupt their position. I observed these lights in their stationary position for over 20 to 30 minutes.
The bright lights became amber in color at the same time and slowly (about 15 minutes later) became too small for my eyes to focus on. They were gone at the same time.
I am extremely curious of course. When the jets went up I was hoping for some alien gun play, but no. The lights just remained stable amid clouds passing and customary commercial plane routs coming in and out of the county airspace.
This could not have been a balloon. The wind would have moved their positions. It could not have been a plane because it didn’t move.
I am sure there are other objects up there like satellites or maybe distant planets? Maybe that is the explanation?
If there is anything more about these lights that could explain what I saw…let me know. This was a strange experience. Meaning it had my mind wandering for real.

Update – August 22, 2019: Analysis of radar data from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport indicates that the witnesses saw craft from a military high altitude operation.
