Location of Sighting: Elizabeth, New Jersey
Date of Sighting: December 22, 2015
Time of Sighting: 4:50 PM EST

Description: The witness is an environmental worker and was outside. He suddenly saw 4 bright objects in a diamond formation. The objects were only visible for a few seconds. The witness managed to snap a photo with his cell phone before the objects vanished. Another coworker also saw the objects. The witness described the lights as being of “pink-white” in color. The objects were hovering.

Note: Debunkers: The witnesses saw these objects only for a few seconds. Consider this before coming up with explanations for what you think could have caused these lights.

A review of newspaper, TV & radio news stories from December 22 – December 31 finds no mention of a sighting of UFOs in or near Elizabeth, NJ. The witness saw it, had time to take a photo, but no one else in the area reported it?

It is not surprising that no one else saw it as it was only visible for a few seconds. The media doesn’t cover UFO’s and many people don’t report them that see them.

Hello Mr. Puckett, and a belated Merry Christmas!
As per your request for an opinion about what is the nature of these “lights” photographed over New Jersey: Of course this could just be some fakery or sorts, they could be some kind of “lens flare’ of which there are all kinds, or maybe lit up drones that are unfortunately not so uncommon anymore! But on an outside bet these lit objects could be some type of aerial objects of an unconventional type, be they be of human or another origin. I see that the four objects are pretty uniform in size, shape, and luminosity and indicate a solid form emanating the light in the photograph.
I believe – I think – that these people did observe four objects that to most people, would be unidentifiable aerial objects, so strikingly different in appearance and movement that they were compelled to take a picture of them. Objects that aren’t dissimilar to these were photographed by a Navy Photographer as a number of them moved over the Naval facility that he was at. The official explanation for what the Seaman saw and photographed was that he took pictures of reflections of interior florescent lights of the building that he was working in that were reflecting off of the windows that he took the photographs ‘through’. The Seaman was a trained photographic analyst and was just somehow fooled into thinking that those inner light’s reflections on the window were suddenly so stunningly unusual as to fool this Seaman into thinking that what he was looking at were bazaar aerial objects worthy of him to photograph!
My thanks to the people who submitted their picture, and of course to you for your great job running this site and then some! Happy New Year!

    Sincerely, Joel W. Small.

Hi Joel and Happy Holidays to you. Yes, I am aware of the photograph taken by the Navy photographer back the 50’s. It is used on a lot of UFO documentaries. Keep in mind these guys were outside so what they saw and photographed was not reflections of lights off of windows.

      Thanks for your comments.
