Location of Sighting: Island of Situate (Denmark)
Date of Sighting: September 12, 2017
Time of Sighting: 7:20 PM Local Time
Description: My sighting occurred on the island Situate between Denmark and Sweden. The time was from 19:17 to 19:21. It was still daylight and it was about 30 minutes before sundown. There is a lot of air traffic around here, but the objects were definitely no airplanes. I take the bus the same time from the same place, and had never seen similar before. The local bus driver witnessed the sighting, while waiting on the bus stop.
There were 3 objects (number 3 appeared some minutes later). The objects were coming from the south, and crossed over the eastern part of the island at high altitude. Number 1 turned to the east-northeast (to Sweden), number 2 continued north (to Norway). (Number 3’s direction is unknown, because we had to leave the site due to the bus-schedule. Maybe more objects were following?.)
The altitude was probably more than 8 to 10 kilometers.because number 2 was flying above some cumulus clouds. The shapes were double-pyramide (see sketch illustration as example.) I took no photos. The objects were like silver hot-air-balloons(?), but balloons don’t change directions, and fly not so fast. If they had an altitude of 10 kilometers and if they had a size of a regular airplane (in horizontal), then the speed would have been 800 to 1,000 kilmeters/hour (about 375 MPH). The objects were probably much higher and in lower Earth orbit. There was was no sound and the object left no trails. (By the way: 50 kilometers east from here – on the Swedish coast, is the biggest Scandinavian nuclear facility (3.500 MW).Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
