Time of Sighting: 10 PM EDT
Description: On June 30, 2019 at around 10 PM a reddish orange ball of light appeared in the west behind that there were four or five more staggered from left to right. They floated almost directly over me than all vanished at the same point in the sky. I ran upstairs to tell my wife. We went out and saw two more side by side float over and disappear at same point in sky. She was so freaked out she went inside immediately after that. I then saw one more coming so I got my daughter so she could see it before it disappeared at the same point in sky. They were about height of small plane and seemed to be moving a little faster. There was no sound no exhaust trails and they never flickered. They stayed the same intense bright color until they disappeared. I know that it was not a meteorite or space debris!
Note: The witness’s descriptions fits Chinese Lanterns. The sighting occurred on a weekend when people would more likely launch lanterns.
