Location of Sighting: Senecaville, Ohio
Date of Sighting: June 25, 2016
Time of Sighting: 10:15 to 10:25 PM EDT
Description: There was 6 of us last night in eastern Ohio. We saw the space station. It was moving south to north and then about 15 minutes later we saw a ball of light that flashed and it would stay for about 20 seconds and then it would flash. What could it of been? We have never seen anything like that before. It was moving so slow.
Question From Witness: Then could you tell me if the space station changes in how close it is to earth at 10:01 last night. We saw what we thought was the space station. It was moving from south to north and very fast and it seemed to be pretty close. A little after 11 PM we saw it go by again. It was farther away. I am Just curious.
Note: A search of the Heavens Above satellite database showed that the ISS was not visible in the sighting location on June 25, 2016. Also there were no known bright satellites visible at the time of the observation. There were a few dim satellites that would have been visible, but they would have been difficult to see.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
