Location of Sighting: Near Bolingbrook, Illinois
Date of Sighting: Late September 2017
Time of Sighting: 6 PM CDT
Description: My sighting was late September of 2017 and I apologize for such less detail, but this time I was driving north on I-355 on the bridge over the Des Plaines River. It’s about a mile long and it’s way up in the air and the river valley is below. On the north shore of the river along the tree line of the Keepataw forest preserve I saw a BIG silver saucer floating about 40 feet off the ground just at the tree lines, but below my elevation given I was up on the bridge. That one I called the state police about because that was shiny and might have been 300 feet across and it gave me a bad feeling. I wish I had have stopped and got a better look, but the speed limit is 70 MPH and it gets gusty up on that bridge so I just kept moving. I remember feeling a bit scared of this one. This big silver shiny round thing had a bad vibe.
Additional Comments From Witness: The best I can offer is an approximation. I would reckon I was heading home on a Sunday afternoon so it was probably around 6 PM. I remember it was a really sunny day and the trees were really green and the sun was to my left and still well above the horizon. The sun was not noon high, but it was still maybe an hour and a half to two and a half hours before sunset.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
