Description: The photo was taken 7/24/2021 at 10:50 PM. My son and I saw it on the left side of moon. It is a poor picture, but we saw it!! We watched it for about 2 minutes. I was driving when I first noticed. It was right over moon at first and I watched for about a minute before i was able to pull over and take a picture. Then it disappeared.
The sighting was in Northern California (Vacaville, California) The object was black with four lights in a row like these periods . . . . It blended into the night sky, but could just barely be seen because of the Moon shining on it. That’s how my son spotted it. It was huge in comparison with Moon as it gave a good size comparison. Also it almost had a cloaking look to it and when disappeared instantly reminding me of something I had seen on tv about cloaking. It was truly an Awesome experience my son and I had the privilege to experience. It was kind of surreal. BTW my son is a 16 year old high school sophomore and I am a retired USAF Senior NCO currently working as an FAA inspector. Feel free to reach out as we will be as helpful as possible.
