Time of Sighting: 9:10 AM MDT
Description: I was just taking a photo of the mountains and I noticed the dots and shadows in the 3 photos. I didn’t see them before or after taking the photos. I noticed them only in the photos. In fact I looked after the second photo and I didn’t see anything. Then I took the third photo and they were there and had moved. Is this some sort of light reflection?

Yes, anytime the sun is directly in your camera’s field of view, you’re going to have internal optical effects, as demonstrated in the photo.
It looks like a lens flare to me.
