Description: I am from India. My home state is Kerala (South most part of India). My Home town is Tiruvalla. I am a Software Engineer working in Infopark Kochi which is about 95 kilometers away from my home town. I used to commute every day between Kochi and Tiruvalla either by bus, train or by my bike. The incident happened on 23rd February 2018 at Eattumannor. (Again this a small town around 10 kilometers in the Kottayam district and around 40 kilometers from my home town). At around 5:35 AM I was on my way to work to Infopark Kochi by my bike. I started around 4:15 AM from my home and reached the said place (Eattumanoor) at around 5:10 AM. There is small shop there at the junction which serves coffee and snacks to locals (fishermen, news paper boys, etc.) I used to stop there for a morning coffee. As usual I had my snack and coffee and when I was about to leave the shop I saw a friend of mine (a new paper boy) coming to have his coffee. He waved at me so I went to him had a little chat. We were standing outside the shop.
The near by Shiva Temple was illuminated fully and there was procession yesterday called Ezhara Ponnana. (Ettumanoor Mahadeva Temple hosts the arattu festival celebrated on a grand scale on the Thiruvathira day in February–March every year.) A lot of people come to this temple on the 8th and 10th day of the festival when seven and half elephants (in my language Malayalam its called ezharaponnaana) made of gold (nearly 13 kilograms) will be held in public view. This statue was donated to the temple by a Travancore Maharaja (a king). The temple, one of the wealthiest Devaswoms in Kerala, has many valuable possessions. As we were chatting I saw a glowing light towards south of the sky. It was a white light. So I showed my friend this and he too was mesmerized by the light. It was a white light whiter than the whitest and because of this white it appears as blue light to us. Other people who were fishermen and vegetable sellers also saw this light, but they did not understand what it was. This light was moving with a constant speed initially. Suddenly I thought of taking a video using my HTC Phone camera.
But the HTC camera was not good enough to catch the image fully. But when the object came right over us it’s shape changed to a triangle. (I clearly saw this). When I shouted out to others that it had a triangular shape another man shouted that it had a round shape. Actually each and every one gathered there felt they saw a round or oval or triangle shape. I was also confused. Suddenly light started dimming and it shot westward. It all finished in about 10 to 15 seconds.
But I tell you it was a marvelous sight. I am uploading the video in which you can also see a small dot moving in a very irregular manner.
Kindly let me know what you think. But I tell you once again it was a very beautiful and extraordinary sight. I am sure no man made machine can move like that or shoot like that.
Note: The video is grainy and doesn’t reveal much detail. The witnesses disagree on the shape that the light changed to (triangular or round). The video doesn’t reveal any shape and probably doesn’t depict what the witnesses saw.
