Time of Sighting: 10:15 PM PDT
Description: I saw a bright blue object moving quickly across the sky while I was staring at Mars, so this would have been facing southeast from my location. I thought at first it might have been a helicopter, but there were no flashing lights and the speed of it was unusual, as well as the blue-ish color of the light.
As it was traveling east to west, it looked like it turned (north) and was going to approach me because the blue light got brighter and bigger. I hoped it would approach me! I Pulled out my camera to try to catch a video, but was unsuccessful. However, it continued to travel westward, then appeared to turn away (south). The light dimmed, but I could still see it for a moment and then it disappeared.
