Location of Sighting: Bellingham, Washington
Date of Sighting: July 11, 2018
Time of Sighting: Late Evening to 1:30 AM
Description: My sighting occurred on July 11, 2018, pre-midnight through 01:30 AM, from Bellingham, Washington, looking South, 30 degrees high, visual optic about 3/16 inch diameter, viewed with Nikon 10 power binoculars. I saw a bright orange light in non stationary orbit. It moved through the sky with the other stars, but was a hundred times brighter. What was it?
Note: The witness thought that the above sighting was similar to the sighting of a solid, pale yellow-orange light that moved steadily and stopped. This sighting was in New Bloomfield, MO on July 3, 2018. I suspect that the witnesses could be seeing the “Google Balloon” which is used to deliver internet service to a wide area? A similar sighting was reported from Earlville, IA on the same dates.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
