Description: Three friends and myself saw a bright orange orb a good distance up in the sky. The UFO moved pretty slowly across the sky East to West, south of Earlville, Iowa and looked larger then any aircraft that I have seen flying. It would dim, get brighter, and even spun in a circular motion like a lighthouse. There was a beam of light that pointed out as it spun. We started to watch it about 10 PM on July 10th 2018 and continued watching until around 4 AM July 11th 2018. It was a clear sky and we could see the light from planes, satellites, a few jets and many stars.
Note: A similar sighting was reported from Bellingham, WA. I suspect that the witnesses could be seeing the “Google Balloon” which is used to deliver internet service to a wide area? The photo reveals a strange looking object. The strange shape may have been due to a slow exposure setting of the camera.
