Description: I got home around 1:45 AM. I was outside unloading the car when something very peculiar happened. I looked up to see a bright orb probably no bigger than a large melon descending rather rapidly (maybe 15 MPH) towards the ground over yonder behind some trees, probably about 1,000 feet from where I was standing. I was terrified, ran inside and described the sighting to my family. They believed me, but thought it was funny being as freaked out as I was. I decided to step out on the back porch a few times later that morning. I saw what appeared to be light moving through the top of the trees vaguely before it finally disappeared and I finally lost visual. We have farm animals back there and nothing appeared to be bothered. Unfortunately I couldn’t capture any footage.
This isn’t the first time. About 2 years ago my brother was driving in the back at about midnight when the craziest thing happened. He described it as a huge colorful ball of light that flew at unimaginable speeds no more than 500 feet off the ground. No sound was to be heard.
