Description: A man had just returned from work and was parking his truck. He looked up in the sky and saw a shiny transparent object that resembled a Google balloon. The object was stationary and shimmered a couple of times. A jet approached the object The object was about 1/2 mile from the jet. When the jet approached the object disappeared. Three or four seconds later after the jet moved by the object reappeared. The object was visible for about 5 minutes. The object was about 1/3 the size of the jet that passed by. The object made no sound. Skies were partly cloudy at the time of the sighting.
Note: The object was probably not a balloon given that the witness saw it disappear and reappear.
