Location of Sighting: Scottsdale, Arizona
Date of Sighting: May 12, 2020
Time of Sighting: 9:35 to 9:50 PM MST
Description: Two weeks ago I spotted a star (where there are none) I have 3 star apps and watch our stars and constellations every night for years. Never have I observed the following: flashing orb at 300 degrees on compass at 935 to 9:50 PM . I live in AZ and see this event at this time three times over a month. It is always between 311 and 300 degrees in the western sky. Venus is barely visible on lower left horizon. This thing flashes very brightly vivid green, red, blue, yellow, white in a rotation with no discernible pattern. It is visible with the naked eye. It always appears to be over Phoenix Luke Air Force Base looking from my home. It’s at 5,000 feet or higher.
When it first shows up it’s over the central Metro area it iss close enough to appear as a possible helicopter. But it travels due west and gets smaller but stays at 310 to 311 degrees. In an hour it’s slowly moves to 295 to 300 degrees. Once near 300 degrees it’s pretty far west. After two hours it’s gone.
It’s been in that spot on 3 different nights in the last 300 days. I have never seen this type of entity in years of watching the skies. The other stars are moving ever so slowly with the rotation of the Earth. This slowly very slowly over two hours, but in a moving away fashion getting less high as it moves to the west.
Note: The witness is looking at Venus or another bright star. Venus is very bright in the western sky in the evenings.
On occasion we see it in the northwest sky. The latest was on September 3rd, 2022 in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
At 10:05 PM I see two of these stationary flashing multicolor lights. One is in the Northwest sky and one in the Northeast sky. Both are at the same height. Is it part of the new Spaceforce satellite system?
At 9:45 PM, 5/10/22 I see it tonight in the northwest sky.
