Time of Sighting: 10 PM EDT
Description: A bright star like appearance has been seen in various locations due west of north Raleigh 540 and route 1. The location varies widely night by night with no appearance some nights. In the video the object does fade to light and then reappears! I have been watching overnight since January and the object appears frequently!
Note: The object is likely the planet Venus. The video (not shown) shows that the object disappears and reappears. This is likely the result of camera movement so that Venus disappears behind tree branches and then reappears when the camera is moved some more.
