Bright Twinkling Object High in Sky.

Time of Sighting: 12:30 AM PDT

Description: Last night and two nights before, around 12:30 AM I saw a bright, twinkling object high in the sky from where I stood. I am in Tigard, Oregon. At first, I thought it might be Mars or Venus, but these were cloudy nights, and no other stars were visible. And then, as I watched it, the object moved slowly down, then arose. After a few moments, it moved to the left, then to the right. I had never before seen such a thing.

It appeared to be several hundred feet high off to the west. Who knows how many miles away it was. I am assuming someone is flying a drone with a bright light on it, but why would they do that? And why are there so many similar sightings around the country? I don’t know how long this light persisted because I quickly became bored and went back inside my apartment.
