Location of Sighting: Cambridge, Ohio & 25 Minutes Later Newcomerstown, Ohio.
Date of Sighting: December 24, 2015
Time of Sighting: 8 PM & 8:25 PM EST
Description: A couple saw 4 to 5 aerial orange lights arranged in a semi-circle. The couple were driving south on I-77. The lights were moving left to right and were orange in the middle. The lights suddenly vanished after 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Skies were clear and the moon was bright at the time of the sighting. The witnesses then drove back north on I-77 and again saw lights 25 minutes later near Newcomers Town, Ohio. This time they saw 2 lights. The lights were visible for about 10 minutes. When one of the witnesses tried to take a photo the lights vanished. The lights were visible in the northwest sky. The lights in the two sightings were very large and were estimated to about 1/8 to 1/4 the size of a full moon.
Note: The female witness reported the sighting. She was sure that the lights were not Chinese lanterns because they were “too uniform.” She is very familiar with Chinese lanterns because her boyfriend (the other witness) is a musician and launches Chinese lanterns at concerts.Note to Commenters: If you are reporting a sighting, be sure to include the location (city, state, country), date and time of your sighting.
