December 1, 2014 – Wenatchee, Washington – 8:13 PM PST

Description: I just saw very bright object falling from the sky appearing to be north of Wenatchee, WA at 8:13 PM on Dec 1, 2014. It was unlike any shooting star. This object was much bigger and moving fast, but slower than the average shooting star.

More Information Provided by Witness: The object was very white and I did not see a trail. The duration was less than 2 seconds, I would guess. It was low on the horizon when I first saw it, heading straight downward. I also reported this to King5 TV and Jeff Renner emailed back that it was probably part of the Geminid meteor shower which just started.

Note: I believe that the witness saw a meteor, but the meteor was likely not part of the Geminid meteor shower which would be most visible after midnight in the northeast sky.
