Description: On 12/22/12 at approximately 6:32 AM a picture was taken from a back patio towards the East to catch the sunrise coming up. Not knowing what would be in the picture I found a disk shaped object. The second picture was taken within one minute. The second photo has a strange reddish cloud with lightning coming from it. If interested, contact me and I will forward a picture. They are on my cell phone.

1. Are these the original “unedited” photos taken with your cell phone? If not, please send originals.
2. Did you hear any thunder? Were there any rain showers in your area at the time?
3. What is the make and model of cell phone that you used to take the photos?

Hi William:
I am not the original person to take the photos, My co-worker’s daughter took them. I will try to get the information you need.
Note: Analysis indicates that at least one (if not both) of the photos are likely hoaxes. The temperature at Ontario at the time of the photos was 34 degrees F. Radar did not show any thunderstorms in the area. There were some light showers to the north of Ontario about 20 miles. This scenario makes it quite unlikely that lightning would occur at the time of the sighting. The flying disk looks to be a fabrication based on photo analysis.
