Description: On December 30, 2012 at approximately 10:00 AM I saw a UFO. I live about 10 miles northeast of Placerville, CA. I am 61 years old. I was on my deck, when I heard a hawk sqawking and was looking into the pine tree where the bird was to see what he was sqawking about. Behind the tree top, against the crisp, blue sky, I saw a circular white object, about 5 times the size of a satellite (I have seen them before), with no jet trail and at very high altitude. The object was traveling from the northwest towards the east then turned to the southeast, slowed briefly and then continued on in a slightly southerly direction. It went across the sky very quickly. I have never seen anything move that fast. I witnessed the Soviet satellite break up on re-entry back around 1985, at night. I have seen the shuttle go overhead at night. This circular object was bigger, brighter and much faster. I thought it might be a meteor, but there was no trail and no break up. There was nothing on the news that I could find.
