Description: Hi. I am still trying to find out what was going on in the early 70’s over Los Angeles. I and a girl friend were sitting in my car at about 12:10 AM. We had come back from a date and she had to be in her house by 12:30 AM as she had to go to work in the morning. We were in the west San Fernando Valley facing south when the sky became daylight. Everything was lite and over the hill toward Santa Monica the sky was a bright Yelloow Red color. This lasted for about 10 to 15 minutes. I thought that LA had been nuked. It scared us both so we put the radio on and nothing was said about it. At 12:30 my girlfriend went inside the house as she had work the next day. I drove home, about a 20 minute drive, and when I went into the house my mom said where in the hell have you been? I told here that I had just dropped off my date and headed right home, why. She said look at the time: It was 4:30 AM. I said it can’t be, no way, as I had come straight home knowing I had work to do that next day. In the morning I checked the clock in the car and my watch, all were fine. Where did the light come from and what happened to me in that 4 hours? I still can not find anything even on the net. This was very strange to me and it still bothers me.
Thank You.
