Description: I was driving south on Higley from McKellips Road and within minutes, I spotted a large black object hovering in the sky. I drove down Higley toward 60 and stopped before turning west on 60. Even though I had driven several miles, the object never appeared to be any closer and I could not make out details. It appeared to be a fat diamond shape and had no lights. I had to watch for other cars so I kept looking away and back again. And the last glance, it had simply vanished when I brought my eyes back to where it had been sitting. It never appeared closer even though I had driven several miles toward it. It was directly in front of me and slightly to the left of the center of Higley. This is my second sighting in December, so I have decided to keep track. I am sorry I did not stop sooner and try to photograph it. I waited thinking it would be easier to make out the details.
