February 21, 2012 – Treasure Island, Florida – 11:30 PM EST

Description: I was on Treasure Island beach at about 11:30 PM with two of my friends. We were sitting on a bench when we noticed a light in the sky. When it was further away we thought it was an airplane, but as it got closer we realized there was no way that is what it could have been. It was silent and seemed to glide through the air much more quickly and smoothly than any known modern aircraft ever could. It moved like a very aerodynamic paper plane. We realized it was actually much closer to the ground than we thought. Then it sort of transformed or spread out from one light to three and continued floating down the beach. We started following it, but as quickly as it appeared it disappeared into the night sky. After that I started noticing that these lights appear in the sky quite often at night. I guess I just dismissed them as airplanes before like most people probably do. If you live in or visit this area, take a look around you next time you go out there and you’ll see what I mean.
